BOULDER PIPE OPAL
This is a natural stone mined in Queensland. It is found in a long cylinder/pipe shapes in the sandstone so there is usually no iron stone present. The host rock is sand stone. These voids may be hollow or filled with opal and sometimes wood fossil replacement is found. This mine has a mixture of wood fossil and pipe opal found together so there may be some over lapping. The polish is great.
