Opal in basalt from Pershing County, Nevada. Unique locality with a large selection of Opal’s including Fire Opal , Crystal Opal , Hydrophane Opal , Hyalite Opal And a gorgeous iridescent opal looking similar to Mexican “Galaxy” Opal or “Leopard” and can have a broad spectrum of background colors including off white , white , beige , orange and the most sought after are black and chocolate. Opticon is recommend but not essential prior to cutting or lapidary.
