This is a parcel of rough from the Koriot opal field.This field is 5 hours north of Lightning ridge and it is in Queensland.It is known for its chocolate iron stone with precious opal embedded in it.This material takes a great polish and is easy to get a high gloss on.This parcel has good colour in it with intruiging patterns making it fun to cut.
