Description: Massive Ethiopian Water Opal
Weight: 107 carat.
Origin: Welo, Ethiopia.
Treatment: none.
Type: Non-hydrophane water opal. Specimen Grade.
Shape: rough.
Pattern: flash.
Dominant Colors: Green, Red.
Size: 360mm x 230mm x 200mm.
Condition: Perfect. No fractures.
Comments: This is a chunk of water opal. That means it was mined in a wet environment and needs to remain wet. If dried out quickly this stone will craze and crack. If kept in a jar, snow globe or fish tank this stone will remain just as it is, forever. Some people slow dry these pieces over 6 months or stabilize them with resin but i don't recommend that. I cut & polish them and put them into glass snowglobe containers to sell at mineral shows. Water opals are not jewellery grade and are not stable enough to use for jewellery. But they are perfect for practicing cutting or creating beautiful displays on a shelf.
Photos & Videos: taken under natural lighting conditions in our office (sun and shade). No lights, filters, photoshop or enhancements of any kind have been used. What you see is what you get.
Shipping info: you only pay to ship the first stone. Any additional purchases within 7 days will be added to the package at no additional cost. Please inform us if you want us to wait the seven days before shipping your order (otherwise it will be shipped upon payment and you will not be able to combine with other purchases). All stones shipped from the Czech Republic.
Return policy: when you receive your order - if for any reason you aren't fully satisfied you may return the untouched stones within 10 days for a full refund. Please just drop us a message and include a tracking number. We aim to please and do not want anyone to be unhappy so never hesitate to contact us. Once the stone has been cut, polished , dried or modified in any way it is not possible to return.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
