This beautiful Ethiopian opal cabochon has an amazing play of color. There is a small crack and sand spot that's been picked on the shoulder of the dome that can be covered by bezel work without effecting the beauty of this piece. Displaying reds, greens, blues, and oranges this opal has a desirable beauty. This piece has a setters cut in the bottom of the opal to help with setting it in jewelry.
