The domed area with play of colors, is separated by a grey central channel
which it is only partially polished, as is supposed to be covered by the setting.
Under some light conditions both side display only blue play of color.
The 2 halves displays striated bands with moss like pattern with a moderate sheen.
Natural Opal-Type - 1 (Solid)
Origin: Lightning Ridge. Australia
Body tone: Black opal N.4 Opaque material
Body Tone and Play of Colour; slightly vary according to light source.
Colours: Green and Blue
