CHOCOLATE IRONSTONE WITH WHITE OPAL ROUGH
We have selected this specimen of ironstone from the boulder opal fields as it has a creamy white /caramel opal embedded in the chocolate ironstone.This was mined in Yowah Qld. This chocolate ironstone takes a great polish .Amazing pattern.You can cut it up for several stones make a top specimen or use it as a carving piece. There may be cavities in the stone which you can leave natural or you can grind some ironstone off and mix the waste with glue and fill in the cavities.
