This is a natural specimen from Winton Queensland. This specimen has the precious opal embedded in the ironstone. Some of this materiel has fractures in it when mined so we add a bonding agent before polishing.
We have left the shape natural so you can see the nodule formation. You also have the option of cutting it as a stone.
