INDONESIAN ROUGH BLACK OPAL
This is a piece of natural rough opal i purchased on my last trip to Banten.I bought it direct from the miner still in mud and just gernied it so you can be sure its not been olied ect. There is some of the host clay left on the rough.This material is mainly wood replacement fossil. The rough is N1 and its ideal for carving,cabs,doublet backing or just for a collection.
We have taken a photo of the stone wet to show the black colour.
