Opals of this quality are always better in person, as the camera has a hard time picking up all the colors, especialy rich blues, violets, & purples. Its body Crystal is a light brown , which serves to make all the colors come out brighter, more vivid in contrast. This opal has not been smoked. In person, vivid neon purple , orange, & yellow dominate this stone, but make no mistake, it also has a good amount of vivid red , & it right lighting, blue, violet, & purple. All highly 3-D. No dead spots . No cracks, potch, poc holes, & eye clean. Beautifully cut cab.Big face up. A blazing gem for fine jewellery .
