This is a natural boulder matrix parcel from Winton Queensland Australia . We have blocked it out and have not faced it so there is a chance it may cut a better stone than it appears. This material has precious opal embedded in the ironstone and usually is easy to get a top polish on.
It should be fun to cut these stone. You can cut stones from it make beads or do some interesting specimens or carvings.
