BOULDER MATRIX POLISHED
This is a boulder matrix rough ready for cutting. This rough was soaked in sugar/oil and heated to make blacker. It was mined in Jundah Queensland. The precious opal is embedded in to the ironstone-this can be cut in to stones or it can be made in to beads or for interesting polished specimens or for carvings.
