Very unusual black crystal opal from the Mintabie field. Face has good green, red and orange fire. Throughout the body there are black tiger pattern formations which gives the opal a very unique look with the fire floating above. Never seen an opal with this formation before.
All my Opals are natural and earth mined with no treatments. I cut and polish every Opal i sell and have been selling internationally for 20 years to the trade and public. You can buy with confidence as i only sell what i have hand picked myself.

PositiveVery interesting opal. Backlit, one can see through the opal and the black included line pattern. Under top lighting the crystal opal resembles a black opal with nice play of colors. However, the black is not an opaque solid as in a regular Lightning
