INDONESIAN ROUGH OPAL
This is a piece of natural rough opal i purchased on my last trip to Banten. Indonesia. This opal is volcanic in origin. It is common for the miner to oil there opal but this has not been oiled. On the body tone scale the rating for this material is N4 to N3 so its quite naturally dark. There is a distant play of colour and it does appear a bit leady. Still it is interesting material to cut and some good fire on some angles. This has been dremeled by the miner and it would cut a interesting stone.
We have taken a photo of the stone wet to show the colour.
Note this opal loves strong sunlight to looks its best-in dim light there will be little or no colour,

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
