This is a natural Yowah opal nut that has been sliced opened and lightly faced .it was mined in the yowah opal field which has a good reputation for its quality opal nuts.This opal nut has a butterscotch centre this is made up of different orch colours when formed..We have rubbed down app 1000 nuts and only 20 had white centres showing how rare it is, You can polish natural or some pits can be filled with super glue mixed with the host rock you get from rubbing down.
