Columnar fire structures are not uncommon in Ethiopian opals. What makes this opal unique is the columnar fire structures are too dense. It is like a handfull of spagetti noodles. So many many columnar fire structures that are so densely packed together it is indeed a Syhthetic opals pattern.
I would go as far as to say this pattern is so rare to see in natural opals that few people will ever see in their lifetime.
This opal is absolutely not a synthetic. It is natural and untreated and unadulterated in any way. We probably will never see another It also has a very small amount of White flashes which are really rare to see in opals
The opal is absolutely incredible and has one of the rarest patterns for a natural opal.
