This is natural untreated carving made from fairy opal.This is sandstone from queensland with opal colour embedded in it.This material can be treated to make it black-refer to the forum here.it can also be polished by using super glue or liquid glass.We have taken the photo of the carving wet as when its dry you cant see any colour.
