Top Gem! Super RARE! Museum quality Belemnite pipe opalised ancient sea fossil, mined on the Coober Pedy opal fields South Australia.
We found this as 2 seperate parts, which have been re joined using the best quality epoxy and then polished as a top gem specimen, maintaining the feature of the ancient belemnite squid in the back of the stone, therefore maintaining the fossil specimen value.

Apart from the artificial rejoining, it has some naturally formed fractures (shown in the pictures), but still has a huge clean gem inside if it were ever to be cut... but is generally worth more as a super rare specimen.
