Solid freeshape Semi Black Opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia. Cut, polished, ready to set into jewellery. The opal was mined in Mulga, which is an area mined in the Lightning Ridge area. The gem weighs 4.00 carats, and has 16.45mm length, 11.81mm width, and 3.18mm depth. The opal has low to medium brightness and low dome, and has a amazing pinfire/ broadflash pattern with blue, purple and green. The gem will make a stunning ring or pendant once set.
