This is a GORGEOUS GEM quality Opal Doublet.
Both parts of the stone is sourced from Lighting Ridge. We cut our own stones. The black potch is from the Ridge as well as the rough on the top.

We don’t use onyx like some people and also not to be mixed with a lot lighter milky Cooper Pedy Opal doublets.
This is the real thing from lighting ridge that looks exactly as a high quality full black stone from the top and also black opal backing from the Ridge. Once you set into a beautiful Jewelry people will be amazed by the look. 

They are ideal for the jeweler to design a stunning pendant or ring.
