This is a super rare dry non hydrophane Ethiopian contraluz phantom opal glass clear transparency with extreme brightness of all colors of fire. This opal is another one of my non hydrophane opals that have been dry for over two years.it has no signs of cracks or, crazing. I have never had one to be dry this long and, not hold up on a cutting wheel. I still can't guarantee it will hold up. In all my years of studying, and selling opal I never saw another like this one.
