Solid Black Opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia. Cut, polished, ready to set into jewellery. The opal was mined in Mulga, which is an area mined in the Lightning Ridge area. The gem weighs 1.15 carats, and has 11.70mm length, 8.75mm width, and 1.46mm depth. It has n2 body tone with medium brightness and low dome. Its has a amazing broadflash pattern with green the dominant colour. Would make a stunning ring or pendant once set.
