This is a doublet opal made from natural crystal from Coober Pedy and backed on to ironstone from Queensland to look like expensive black opal. A emerald green natural chrome dioposide stone enhances this pendant along with a natural sparkling Australian Topaz stone

Chrome diopside is a rich, emerald green variety of the mineral diopside which derives its color from chromium. A recent Russian find in 1988 is the source of the Tsavorite-like stones that are gaining in popularity today.
