This is a natural stone mined in Lightning ridge.

This stone is suited to a pendant only .I have left some inclusions at the base of the stone as the fire is so bright it covers them up. You can always remove but never add once you cut it away. If a solid stone the price would be over double what im asking.

This stone is thin with the back being the host sandstone. I would suggest the jeweller re enforce the back before setting The thickest part is 5 mm but one part near the top is 2.5 mm. it is well polished and showing good fire.
The top part of the stone is slightly undulating.

Only those stones with a body tone of N1 to N4 are considered BLACK OPAL
