Who doesn't love coupon codes and discounts? There's nothing quiet like the joy of snagging a great deal. In this article you'll find how to make the most of your coupon codes.

Please note: Only one coupon can be used by transaction. You cannot accumulate coupon codes to receive a larger discount.

1. Using Your Coupon Codes
Coupon codes are applied in the following order and can be used on the follow purchase types

• $10 Discount New Member Discount

  • Automatically Applied At Checkout

  • Applicable to all purchase types (Catalogue items, Make An Offer, Auctions)

• Member Rewards Coupons

  • Automatically Applied At Checkout

  • Applicable to all purchase types (Catalogue items, Make An Offer, Auctions)

• On Going Sale Event Coupons

  • Automatically Applied OR Code Manually Entered At Checkout

  • Applicable to Catalogue items only (Catalogue items are full priced items that can be added to cart)

• Exclusive Coupons Created By Sellers

  • Code Manually Entered At Checkout

  • Applicable to Catalogue items only (Catalogue items are full priced items that can be added to cart)

Coupons are applied based on the image below:

So, if you have a $10 New Member discount, that will be applied first, rather than a Members reward coupon or an ongoing sale coupon.

2. Exclusive Savings on Catalogue Items
Coupon codes are specifically designed to be used on catalogue items that are currently on sale. Whenever there's a sale event on Opal Auctions, you can easily locate the discounted items by visiting the dedicated "Sale" category.  Alternatively, when there are no ongoing sale events, sellers have the option to create unique coupon codes exclusively for their customers.

3. Tracking Your Coupon Code
Coupon codes are always presented to customers during the checkout process. How?

• If you have a $10 New Member Discount, you will see your coupon automatically applied at checkout.

• If you have a Member Rewards Coupon, you will see your coupon automatically applied at checkout.

• If there is an ongoing sale, you will see your coupon automatically applied at checkout.

• This ensures that the final transaction price is displayed for your convenience during the checkout process. When you are using a discount that is offered to you directly by a seller, you will have to manually add this coupon code on the checkout page to then view the final transaction price.

• If you have a discount specially made for you by a seller, you will enter the coupon code manually at checkout.
  

4. Replacing Coupon Codes
No matter the circumstance, you can only use one coupon code per transaction. You cannot accumulate coupon codes to receive a larger discount but you can replace coupon codes. Possible scenarios:

• "There is an ongoing sale and I have an exclusive coupon code created for me by a seller." - The sale coupon code will be automatically applied to the item at checkout. You can either use the sale coupon code or manually replace it at checkout with the coupon code exclusively created for you, as long as it is applied to a catalogue item from the seller's store.

• "There is an ongoing sale, I have an exclusive coupon code created for me by a seller and I haven't used my $10 New Member discount yet." - The $10 New Member Discount will be automatically applied to the item at checkout.

• "There is an ongoing sale and I haven't used my $10 New Member discount yet." - The $10 New Member Discount will be automatically applied to the item at checkout. You can either use the $10 New Member Discount or manually replace it at checkout with the sale coupon code.

• "There are no ongoing sales, I have an exclusive coupon code created for me by a seller and I haven't used my $10 New Member discount yet." - The $10 New Member Discount will be automatically applied to the item at checkout. You can either use the $10 New Member Discount or manually replace it at checkout with the coupon code exclusively created for you, as long as it is applied to a catalogue item from the seller's store.

5. $10 New Member Discount
We offer a $10 discount for new members who sign up with Opal Auctions. This discount will be automatically applied at checkout when purchasing a catalogue item (as long as the item price, excluding shipping, taxes and insurance charges, is $10 or more). You have the option to remove the coupon code if you wish to not use it for that specific transaction.

6. Member Rewards Coupons
Once you become a member with Opal Auctions, some of our sellers will give you exclusive discounts. The Member Reward Coupons are a unique promotion that our Verified Sellers choose to be part of.
