YOWAH STONE
This is a stunning Yowah stones from the Yowah opal field which is known for its amazing patterns . This stone has precious opal embedded in the ironstone. The Yowah field is only 5 hours north of Lightning ridge. These stones have a top professional finish on them so you will see some reflection from the lights on the surface.
Well polished
This stone was mined over 40 years ago in Yowah by a old miner called Ted! He came to the ridge in 1953 and mined in yowah in the 70s. These stones were from his collection that i saw many years ago. He is now mining in the ridge and is down on his luck so i bought these from him to help him. I may have been a bit generous to him but they are quality stones.! Im sure you will be pleased with them.
