On this bright *Boteh shape opal, I have left on its tip, some black potch as eventually can be covered by the setting without hiding any good colors.
The pattern is a mix of Pinfire and Cloverleafs
Dark opal N. 6 or Light opal N.7according to back ground. Undulated surface
*a Persian design that symbolizes fertility, life, and eternity
Natural Opal-Type - 1 (Solid)
Origin: Lightning Ridge. Australia
Body tone: Light crystal opal N. 7. Translucent material
Body Tone and Play of Colour; slightly vary according to light source.
Colours: Primary: green- Secondary: multicolor
Brightness: Good
Directionality: Directional
Pattern: Mainly Pin fire
Polishing: Excellent up to 10x
Clarity: Some dark potch on face. Sandy back.
Treatments: No treatment. No cracks.
