This rough opal was recently mined by our company on the East Pacific opal field of Coober Pedy Australia.

WEIGHT: 282 carats, 56.4 grams or 1 oz 16 dwt (troy) weighed dry.
These are medium to low yield untouched pieces.
These stones should cut around 12-18 carats of small cabochons, doublets, inlay or intarsia etc.
