This is a natural Yowah opal nut that has been sliced opened and lightly faced .it was mined in the yowah opal field which has a good reputation for its quality opal nuts. The centre of the nut has white and orange orch in it.You can polish natural or some pits can be filled with super glue mixed with the host rock you get from rubbing down. You can cut the top and keep the rest as a unusual specimen
