This is a piece of rough mined in Lightning Ridge.The rough has been faced to expose the colour bar so you can see it will cut a stone.It is now ready for pre shaping to your desired shape ready for polishing.
.Use the chart below to get a better idea of what to expect as the body tone will give you a good idea of the darkness of the stone you are bidding on.
The main thing to look for with buying any rubs or pre shaped rough is that there is no sand in the face of the stone as if it dosent come off you will cut a much smaller stone.
