OCTOBER SALE PROMOTING OPAL AS THE BIRTH STONE FOR THIS MONTH.
MINTABIE OPAL
This is a natural stone mined in Mintabie South Australia. It has a intriguing Dragon skin pattern. The potch is black but the colour bar has some grey in but it is still a N4 body tone.It does have a sand spot and a half moon shaped inclusion in it but as the colour bar is thin we have left them.You could cut it back to app 40 cts if you so desired. Great collectores stone. Sadly the future of this opal field is in doubt as it may be closed and handed back to the local aborigines who wont mine it so this is your chance to get a great stone from this field.
This stone is best suited as a pendant due to its size.
