Folks not many people know Black Opal can come from Coober Pedy but it does but not many people get to see it. This is not dark base but I have to call it that.
This piece is huge, nearly three ounces and thick too. You can see theres a color bar that runs right through the stone. It does not look level but its very thick and dense with color.
I can see all manner of reds and orange yellow and gold and some blues.
It will cut a lot of money. Once again I would dremel it, enjoy the process of getting down to the color then decide the best route from there . I dont need to tel you the possible rewards in this stone.
Sorry the video was no good, the flies, the heat, we had to abandon ship.
