Mined on the Dead Horse Gully Opal Field North West of Coober Pedy Australia, this genuine Natural Australian gem crystal seam opal has been partially rubbed on one side to display the colour.
WEIGHT: 19.7 carats
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 34 long mm by 26 mm wide by around 5 mm thick.
THis rough should cut around 6-8 carats of small solids, or larger doublets in bright blue green light crystal.
We do not sell opal simulants of ANY sort. All of our opal is 100% Guaranteed Natural Australian Opal.
The color variations in some photos are due to different light angles and distances. All of our auctions are photographed with macro settings under a 60 watt incandescent lamp. Water is used in some or all photo's to show true colour once polished.
Please check the dimensions carefully as the opal will not be as big in your hand as it looks on your monitor! Also some monitor settings will cause white based opal to look darker than it actually is. Please check the description carefully before bidding.
