Special piece of opal. very rare Beska mined opal in Welo where the best opal comes from in Ethiopia. Beska is the latest in a series of Ethiopian mines discovered along the Nile Gorge in the North. It's a hard climb to get down to the mining layer and not for the faint of heart.
I remember buying cheap Costco miners lights and batteries for the Welo miners I knew. A Dr seen then who delivered babies and asked for them as they are without power and in the dark delivering babies. I easily and quickly agreed thinking and feeling enlightened.
