FAIRY OPALjundah Andamooka South Australia and treated with sugar only so it makes it blacker.
We don't use and acid to treat our andamooka material.
The colours bought out by the treatment are stunning. It does not alter the opal but blackens the back ground so the opal can be highlighted.

Beautiful stones, however the jewelry that their glues to is not good quality. Much like costume jewellery. Definitely takes away the beautiful opals.
