This 1178 carat or 7.6 ounce parcel comes from the 8 mile field at Coober Pedy. 8 mile is known for its good solid opals with good color.
There are some ripper stones in this parcel, and will cut good sized ring stones. Every color in the rainbow, all shapes and sizes.
Some chips but mostly small stones that will cab.
Bargain price folks. ONly $75 per ounce and I can see many styones that will cut more than that. So you will do very well with this lot.
