Opal type & Origin: this is a solid semi black opal mined in lightning ridge, Australia. It has beautiful peacock or flagstone flashes which is very rare. Some opal directional pattern but mind blowing how bright it is when the color hits. It’s one of the best and favorite gems I have cut (George the opal artist) it’s set by a 20 year veteran goldsmith Rob Darula who hand crafted the design from scratch. The shank is 6.5 in size sterling silver with an 3mm thick 14k gold bezel. Yes this opal can be worn daily and is made to be a his or hers ring. Very comfortable fit perfect size for ring finger….
