This Opal is very bright, it is chocker block with blues and greens there is a hint of red on one end and some yellow too, but overall, a very bright blue green Opal.
It has a couple of very bright green bands that really pop in the light. There are also nice teal and aqua marine colors in this beauty.
It has been polished to perfection, undulating and following the color, it feels as good as it looks. I think the cutting alone in this stone would be $500, a lot of work has gone into cutting, dremeling and polishing this Opal.
Overall, it averages about 4mm, goes up to about 5 and down to 3ish. It has a nice back and I think you could make this double sided if you wanted to. That may involve making it two pieces, its just an option. I would certainly leave it as is, it is beautriful. It is at the max about 25 x 26 x 5 mm.
