This iis s great parcel of Opal Valley Rough, 5 troy ounces in all, massive! It is what a miner put together, I should have told him to stick to mining because half of this is worth $500 an ounce and a few pieces $700 an ounce. It is a bit of a mixture but he does have a good eye for color and at this price per ounce, a real bargain.
The greens and blues really are special and quite typical of the field. There are also some reds in there too!
There are 40 pieces in this parcel, all have good color. Some of the larger pieces have very good mirror image color bars in them that will cut very valuable Opals. At the right angle, the best color for the price Ive had for a while from CP.
This parcel will require some skill in cutting, but I can see a lot of profit in this lot.
There is one nobbie, its most unusual, It could be a cut off stalegmite, whatever it is, be careful with it, it looks to be solid color.
