Folks here is a one of the best value Black Opals I have come across for anywhere near the price.
Mother nature has made this into a very nice shape and revealed many layers of color, every color in the rainbow and more!
As you can see, the wide bar in the middle is a red bar, which will be so exciting to cut it will be amazing.
You can see at thte base, how good and bright the color in this stone is and will be.
It weighs 71 carats, so its massive and will cut a huge stone, or many smaller ones.
You might want to split it vertical to get to that red bar easier, maybe cut above or below ahh decisions decisions!, its a ripper I know!
If you want to keep this whole, you can do so just using files, you can see the color, it wont be hard to follow.
The tone body tone is at the lighter end of the scale, but the color is right at the higher end.
It measures 49 x 25 x 14mm and weighs almost half an ounce. Sorry folks I just cant get it to be 50mm!
If you wanted a nice fiddlestone for when you are talking on the phone in your office, this is a beauty.
