Down Under Opals
"Dreaming Opals"
The opal formed in rocks such as sandstone, ironstone, and petrified wood. When hydrated silica replaced rounded organic matter of tree roots and such, it occasionally formed a pipe opal of superior vibrancy and brightness.

Lightning Ridge Gem Opal Doublet * AOH-348
Ein toller Opal. Genauso wie im Praesentationsvideo dargestellt. Blaue, gruene, manchmal auch ins meergruen/tuerkis Farbspiel uebergehend. Die Hintergrund Farbe zeichnet sich durch einen besonderen Blauton aus der mir sehr gut gefaellt. Einfach toll.
