This is natural potch with no colour play but with some amazing formations
This is what Dr Simon Pecover who researchs opal formation said about this specimen.
What an absolutely incredible opal, showing extraordinarily well developed laminar flow banding, with some layers also showing gentle long wavelength perturbation to flow, PLUS, juxtaposed to what look like swirling “Dean Vortex” type eddy flow.
Well polished and great in any collection.
