Item Specifics:

WEIGHT: 50 grams.

DIMENSIONS: The whole specimen is around 75 mm by 38 mm by 32 mm with the seam approximately 40 mm long by 3 mm thick. (at thickest).

BRIGHTNESS: A brilliant red gold broad / rolling flash 5 out of 5.

This piece could conceivably cut several carats of small cabachons, inlay or doublets but is probably better left as a rare specimen.

We do not sell opal simulants of ANY sort. All of our opal is 100% guaranteed Natural Australian Opal.

The color variations in the photos are due to different light angles, distances and backgrounds.

All of our auctions are photographed with macro settings under a 60 watt incandescent lamp.

We try to create a true as possible representation of the stones you will receive.

Please check the dimensions carefully as the opal will not be as big in your hand as it looks on your monitor!

Also some monitor settings will cause white based opal to look darker than it actually is. Please check the description carefully before bidding and view your opal in sunlight or in a dark room with a direct light source ie: desk lamp, down light etc. (As photographed and practiced throughout the opal industry).
