Materials used are White Cliffs Crystal Opal inlaid into a piece of Aletai Meteorite. The Aletai Meteorite was discovered in the Xinjiang region, China in 1898. This piece shows the beautiful 'Widmanstatten' pattern which is unique to meteorites. The pattern is due to a crystal lattice formation created by millions of years of slow cooling whilst travelling through outer space. The pendant has been coated with a hard U.V resin to protect against rust. The Meteorite sits inside a sterling silver frame.
