This is a natural wood fossil showing good colour and formation .This was mined in Koriot Queensland. This rough that was wood over 100 million years ago. The opal has replaced the timber cells over time so you can still see the formation .its called wood fossil replacement. This is in its raw state and needs to be polished-great specimen for a collector or shop keeper.
