WOOD FOSSIL
This is a natural wood fossil showing good colour. This rough that was vegetation or wood over 100 million years ago. The opal has replaced the timber cells over time so you can still see the formation.its called wood fossil replacement.
This rough has good fire but fossils have usually tricky to cut into stones as sand and wood grain can appear in the opal so its best as a specimen.
