FAIRY OPAL
This is a natural precious opal embedded in sandstone and mined in Queensland. In the rough this is a creamy coloured sand stone which when you wet it you see flecks of color. As with most Australian opals red is the rarest color with blue /greens more common in fairy opal. It has been treated with sugar only and no acid is used to look like expensive black opal. It has been given a amazing resin polish. The stone looks better in the hand than the photos and videos.
The treatment is permanent.
