THIS IS A SHELL OPAL FOSSIL FROM COOBER PEDY .IT WAS MINED AT THE SHELL PATCH AND IT HAS BEEN SET IN A SANSTONE ROCK SIMILAR TO WHAT IS WAS FOUND IN.THIS HOST ROCK IS TO DISPLAY THE SPECIMENS AND IT HAS NOT BEEN GLUED IN.BOTH SHELLS HAVE HAD THE TOP SLIGHTLY POLISHED TO EXPOSE THE COLOURS BUT YOU CAN STILL SEE THE NATURAL MARKING ON THE SHELL.WE YHAVE INCLUDED A VIEW OF THE BACK OF THE SHELL ALSO.THE LARGEST SHELL IS 115 CTS AND IT IS 46 X 40 X 18 MM AND THE OTHER IS 100 CTS APP 50 X 25 X 20 MM. THEY ARE BOTH TWO DIFFERENT VARITIES.WEIGHT OF WHOLE SPECIMEN IS 550 GRAMS GRAMS APP .AS WITH ALL OUR STOCK YOU MAY RETURN IT FOR A FULL REFUND IF NOT PLEASED WITH IT.
