This is a natural untreated polished round bead made from boulder ironstone from the Koriot field in Queensland.This opal field is known for its rich chocolate ironstone embedded with precious opal.Beads are a lot dearer than stones as there is a lot of wastage and only certian material is suitable so there is a premium on the material.
Ideal as a centre piece in jewellery
