ANDAMOOKA RAINBOW MATRIX PARCEL-CALIBRATED.
This is a natural opal that has been treated to look like an expensive black opal. This material is hard to get a polish on it as it's porous.
We have carbonized the stone with sugar only. The treatment is permeant but keep away from harsh chemicals
Carbonized and resin-treated to stabilize.
You may see black spots in the stone -they are pebbles left by a glacier before the opal formed-they make the stone unique.
